What is the central theme of your life? Does the
Word of God have the priority in your life that it should? The Bible is a lifeline
for the Christian. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for
teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the
servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2
Timothy 3:16-17)
We must make Scripture central to all that we do.
Without a full acceptance of Scripture we are in danger of omitting passages
that do not fit our worldview. When we too easily dismiss a passage of
Scripture as not applicable to our lives we are not allowing the Spirit proper
authority in our lives. We need a return to the importance of Scripture
in the lives of believers.
I hope that today you will take a fresh look at you
Bible and allow it to marinate within your soul so that God might have the
proper place of priority in your life. Begin this week to read Scripture. If it
helps remember the quote given on Wednesday night,
This is my Bible.
I am what it says I am.
I have what it says I have.
I can do what it says I can do. Today I will
be taught the Word of God.
I boldly confess my mind is alert, my heart is
receptive.
I will never be the same.
I am about to receive the incorruptible,
indestructible, ever-living seed of the Word of God.
I will never be the same.
Never, never, never.
I will never be the same.
In Jesus’ Name.
Amen.
Let me know what God is revealing to you through His word.
